Aftercare
At your first appointment we go over everything lashes and we'll show you how to best take care of your new investment. However, it can be overwhelming if it's your first time getting eyelash extensions and sometimes easy to forget, so here's a little reminder.

*Wash those lashes everyday. Use your lash cleanser to clean your lashes and eye area at the end of the day. This removes any dust/dirt/makeup that may have settled on top of your lashes and eyelids. If you're a heavy makeup wearer or work in an occupation that gets you dirtier or sweatier than most, you will need to purchase a cleansing brush to give those lashes an even deeper clean. If you have oily skin then you will need to cleanse twice daily. Remember, Clean lashes last longer!
*Brush your lashes with your lash brush every day. Brush them in the morning to get them back into place and brush lashes after cleansing to fluff them back out. You'll get a fresh brush at every touch up appointment so you can replace the brush often.
*Be careful with any products you apply to your face. Most products will contain oil and if it gets onto the lashes it will affect the adhesive and you will lose lashes faster than you should. Don't place anything on the eyelid as it will always travel down and get onto the lash line.
*Any products that go on or around your lash line need to be oil free. Oil-free makeup remover, oil-free eyeliner and oil-free mascara. Mascara is only suitable for Classic lash sets and must be one recommended for use with eyelash extensions. We do carry a some very affordable eyeliners and mascaras in salon if you feel you need them.
*Don't pick or play with your eyelash extensions. The natural oils on your fingers will get onto the adhesive, affecting retention and you will risk damaging your natural lashes if you try to pull them off.
*Maintenance or 'touch-up' appointments are required at either 2 or 3 weeks. This time frame is entirely dependant on your aftercare and the growth cycle of your natural lashes. By this time around 30-40 % of your eyelash extensions will have shed with your natural lashes. Some extensions may have grown out too far and need to be removed from the natural lash to keep them healthy and new extensions will be applied to the new growth that has come through.
*Please do not try and remove your own eyelash extensions. Doing so will cause great damage to your natural lashes. If you have decided that lash extensions aren't for you, we offer a safe removal treatment in salon for a very affordable $30.
*If you have any issues at all with your eyelash extensions please contact the salon within 72 hours of your appointment to discuss your concerns. If a fix can be done to address your concerns, it will be done so with a complimentary 30 minute express touch up if it is at the fault of application or product.
